Very Off topic... Life after Uni.

Ah I see, got the wrong end of what you were saying. My bad *insert some sort of smiley to express this here if I knew how to*

    Formation for villa/tottenham

This. Ba might start, Cisse won't

Very Off topic... Life after Uni.

Sorry but some things in finance need a degree. Alot of firms use mathmatical modelling to buy shares etc and these roles (as well as consultancy) do want a degree. Also it helps if you went to the same private school as the guy who now recruits...

Very Off topic... Life after Uni.

I finished two years ago and am now doing a phd, putting off said decision about actual career. Since I did a science course at a preppy uni, many of my uni mates are in London, working in the city, raking it in. I'm not jealous, honest.... Unlike some above posters, I don't regret going to...

    Best Lovers, Shola Haters

Best was poor yesterday, can't get round that. But at half time the coverage I watched showed the distance covered by the players of both teams. Best was in the top three (can't remember exactly where), that would support the 'putting in a shift' part, he does run around. You could never say...

    Player Ratings

I actually think Colo was more like a 5/6. He made some great last minute tackles but he got muscled off the ball alot, was out of position and let them get in behind. Just generally not up to his usual standards (same for Fulham 2nd half). Don't think he looks comfortable a) playing with...

Match Day Thread Official Matchday Thread - Blackburn vs Newcastle

I'm a Shola hater who thinks Best should play upfront not on the wing. But yes, so far tonight Best has been worse...

    New BBC Sport Layout

I like it too, apart from the big splurdge of yellow on the top, too bright and jarring. But the layout of items is good.

BBC on Justin Fasanu (Barton interview)

Unfortunately I think there would be a vocal minority of fans at most clubs doing this. Around grounds you do hear many shouts of things like 'Puff'being used as insults, its very sad.

BBC on Justin Fasanu (Barton interview)

    Very pithy and quite true.

BBC on Justin Fasanu (Barton interview)

Something not related to the non-existent tranfer gossip or our recent non-existant performances, for a change. On bbc three 9pm tonight there is a documentary by Julin's niece about her uncle and gay footballers in general. This article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-16722196 has an...

    Honestly

May get blasted here for agreeing with MrTiote but I think he is right. 433 to adapt to Ben Arfa doesn't work, no width, few crosses and pace not in the right place.

    The Strolla Ameobi Watch

Everyone can have an off day (the 433 experiment has to stop now) but Shola is consistently under par and worse puts so little effort in. Edit: Skalpel got in before me, same sentiment though.

    The Strolla Ameobi Watch

Not only are Shola's performances crap, it usually makes Best play deeper/ on the wing, to much less effect. And then we have no Pace, so can't play balls behind the defence. What the **** does Pardew see that makes Shola get picked?

Manchester United Res Vs Newcastle United Res 7pm

That promo for the 'Friday press conference' was hilarious. Unnecessarily dramatising it, makes Ferguson look like a right abusive tool having a go at all the press.
