    The Breakfast Debate

Redders has helped no doubt, namely with his selections. Playing some of the younger players (Cook/Mowatt) was the right option, whilst Hockaday was persisting with the players that have done nowt previously. The primary factor in the improved performances is simply due to the fact we have...

    The Breakfast Debate

morning Elland-still worries me that we need to fall behind to wake up, but that being said, the 2nd half was immense last night. Best I've seen us play in a while. Positives from last night-The Duke looks like he could a real handful all season, the bench finally looks like it has real options...

    The Breakfast Debate

Morning all! Thought it was time for my bi-annual post! Wouldn't read anything into bookies odds re relegation. We have a decent squad, and finally a midfield that should be as decent, if not better than snods, howson, johnson etc. As mentioned previously, coach is the missing piece. Worries...

    The Breakfast Debate

Morning Elland. Give the new guy a chance whomever that may be, but having said that, Hockaday is a MASSIVELY underwhelming appointment. Personally don't think he'll take the team forward at all.

    Morning Peeps

Christ-didn't think I'd be saying things like that about those types of players (all due respect!) 10 years ago!

    Morning Peeps

Morning all! Not that excited about Blackstock. Decent striker at this level, but I would have to change my underwear if I heard we signed Rowe or Burke!

    Morning Everybody

Morning All, What a day-picked up a victory and a clean sheet for my sunday league side, and then the mighty Leeds did the same. Hard to pick MOTM for me, they all played their part. Turned to my dad at HT in the pub simply shell-shocked. Couldnt remember the last time we were 3 nil at half...

    Morning Everyone

That's a good point, and whilst if we could take penos we would have a couple more results worth talking about, quite a few of them would be masking over inadequacies and our inability to win during the 120 minutes prior to that. case in point our most recent knock out v Italy. We never looked...

It would be funny if it wasn't so soul destroying to watch!

    Morning Everyone

It is true there are exceptions as you say, but I think Eire's point is that when they need to step up and get the result needed, they generally pull out the performances, even if the opposition raise their game for a cup final. I dont trust England to do the same. I 'm not even confident about...

    Morning Everyone

Spot on-but we need to find a way. It was the same with us in league 1. we got turned over now and agin by teams that should be no where near beating the team we had, but they wanted it so bad and riaed their game so much. In contrast we expected to win certain games and that was the wrong mentality

    Morning Everyone

Thinking about it, I dont know why the FA doesn't say right, sod it-scrap 2014 and the following Euros in 2016. I would get rid of everyone at the moment except Joe Hart, Sturridge, Milner, Chamberlain (perhaps Walcott), Wilshere and Rooney. I would then promote loads of the younger players to...
