Great result today, great determination to get back into after they could easily have let heads drop. Shame about other results not going our way but I suppose you have to stay up yourself not hoping everyone else does you favours

I wish I shared your Enthusiasm. I have a feeling Ehab will come to the same conclusion as yourself and think we have just signed on a free a Club hero who has played for England. We have 4 forwards at the club now we wont need to buy anyone else.

It makes no difference. Just because he scored 15 goals for us 10 years ago doesnt mean that he is still at that level now. He has spent most of the last decade with one injury or other. As much as I would love him to come and bang 20 goals this year I just can not see it happen.

I am quite suprised by the number of comments on here that are very pleased with the signing. I think it is nostalgia and the concern of people about the lack of signings that is making everyone go abit far with this. Forget the name for a minute and look at his stats he is an injury prone...

I have said before I dont like squad numbers, Players should wear 1 to 11. But if we are stuck with squad numbers at least do it where it can only be registerd once per season, so ie only ashbee can wear 4 for city this season and have to wait for next to use it again.
