Off Topic Hilton looking to open new Hull hotel...

Beverly Road Baths!!! Major flashback, I used to go there with school in the mid 70's. I left Hull in 1979 and that place had all but been erased from my memory until I saw that photo. Tell you the truth, that place always gave me the creeps :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Sorry chum, it was Ken Houghton who headed home his 100th... True but in fairness my Dad loved to charge out, great if you get to the ball first but sadly he was left floundering more than once as the ball was lobed over him. In this case, nodded delicately over his head :emoticon-0120-doh:...

Sorry I took so long to get back, my old clippings are a little mixed up. Sadly I didn't have anything for the Plymouth game, though I did find one for an Ipswich game that was irritatingly a few weeks after :emoticon-0121-angry 15th April 1968

It was the gloves what lost it

That was a real school boy error by McGregor today. As I said on the match day thread, you form a W with your hands, tips of the thumbs together, it means the ball CAN'T pass threw the hands. It's maddening to see a professional keeper make such a basic error.

Match Day Thread Wolves v Hull City

Oh my good god, thumbs behind the ball you ****ing tard!!! Here, McGregor... Hold your hands up and form a W with the tips of you thumbs touching... If you didn't already know that you shouldn't be on the pitch!!!

"Wolves 1-5 Hull", This I would like to see. Didn't we beat them 10-3 or something in 1920? :emoticon-0105-wink:

    Tigers' history

I just checked the old fixtures and I'm thinking it would've been Saturday the 16th of March 1968. I have some clippings from that season, I'll see if I've any for that game, though to be honest I doubt it :emoticon-0101-sadsm....
