Is the Squad as weak as we think?

It's all very well naming names, but just think of the wages the likes of Ebanks-Blake, Nelson and Jussi would be on. Apart from the fact that I've seen Arsenal fans talking about signing Jussi as a cover goalie- realistic I think not. Ebanks-Blake has 1 goal in the league- sounds like a certain...

High earners on our wage bill

I can see why they only offered him a 1 year deal, they probably saw how well Cresswell did with a relatively short contract and then rewarded him with a 3 or 4 year one. I don't agree with it as I believe we should tie down our best assets for as long as possible, like most fans. However...

    Burnley V Ipswich

You need to register mate, costs a few quid a year via the club website. You get full match highlights and also interviews and stuff like that.

    England manager should be ENGLISH...

Can only think of Joe Cole and David Beckham- neither near the England squad

    Come on you blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great result, hopefully we can now push on and stay in the top 10. Three clean sheets in a row, 4 points from two of the strongest teams in the league, starting to be a good time to be a town fan!

    Ipswich V Coventry

The other big positive for me was Leadbitters and Scotlands performances. best I've seen them play for a while. Delaney made a couple of decent blocks when he came on. Obviously it we weren't playing the best team in the league but lots of positives from this match.

    Ipswich V Coventry

    1. Yes very relieved- most town fans feel this was a crucial game and should give the players some confidence going into a tough run of games. 2. Yes- all round, defense looked reasonably sharp with the full backs getting forward brilliantly, midfield passed the ball beautifully at times- dare...

    14th

That's what I'm hoping for too, except the relegation bit obviously!

    would you want him back?

Of course, he's a top championship defender who would put our current crop of defenders to shame (Ingi apart)

Bloody Hell leicester really are throwing their money around

Anyone get the feeling that Leicester are going to be the QPR of a few years ago or Cardiff of the last few years? Good luck to them, but as much as I hate to say it, I would rather get promoted the 'Norwich way' For me it would be more sustainable, less risky and probably a better sense of...

    Bowyer deal IS done!?!

Very good signing IF it happens, however, as a previous poster said, it may have alerted other clubs to our interest. What's the odds on Leicester nicking him!?

    Bowyer deal IS done!?!

You might have inside information, but I wouldn't have thought you knew bowyers holiday plans

    Bowyer deal IS done!?!

Going to sign when he's back from holiday. Very good signing imo. Feel he's gonna add a lot of much needed steel to our midfield. http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=18716&title=bowyer_set_to_sign_next_week

At least one, maybe two new signings by Tuesday, JUST GONE!!!!!!

It is frustrating, I would hope we get our targets in before too much more of pre season has gone so they can be intergrated into the squad. However, making a signing is never easy so hopefully we'll get a couple of players in by Friday

    Whight signs professional contract

Must be good if he's been given a 2 year contract- a lot of our youngsters only got offered half or one year contracts. Another option at left back which could potentially mean that Cresswell can be pushed up to left mid and Kennedy to the holding midfield position.
