True but lets face it SAF was a one off in that sense, with regards to the modern game. The problem is do you have time? with owners wanting instant glory, comparing the likes of SAF when he started at Utd is odd.

In all honesty AVB was a huge gamble.He has been a manager for 3 years and had one great season with Porto in a very very average league.Today amongst other games has highlighted his inexperience and tactical inadequacies. That's not me trying to annoy Chelsea fans I just don't see the gamble...
