Transfer Rumours January 2026 Transfer Thread…

Selling Hughes may also mean that Gelhardt won't stay - such are the esteemed levels of their chummery.

Match Day Thread Millwall v Hull City

True but that can be applied to a lot of teams I'd have thought - the English national team being a prime example. We (City) generally do ourselves down to a fault - but a side benefit is that we're generally not blaming officials and opponents for our shortcomings.

Match Day Thread Millwall v Hull City

I’ve often thought about this. Of course, we have some right dickheads attached to the club on social media, for example, but in terms of whinging/crying after a defeat, I think we take it well. We lose: we typically look within ourselves and direct blame at ourselves. Stoke/Brum/Millwall...

Apologies for the tardiness, but I remember that fondly. Can even hear the 'goal sequence' in my mind- height of drama for a child. If they were to do that again, and bin off the commentaries, I'd consider listening to RH (again). I suppose it was like a radio version of Soccer Saturday on Sky...

I'll be glad to have him back but seen some talk as if we're getting a prime Edgar Davids back. I remember Matazo looking decent - but nothing amazing and I suppose he didn't really have a chance to get going. Am I remembering it wrong?

    The argument/complete nonsense thread...

This wouldn't change would it as the jury just decides guilt, not the punishment. But, yes, f you are referring to the issue of one person's bias relatively unchecked - I agree, it is an issue

    The argument/complete nonsense thread...

I did jury service once, years ago, and without wanting to be unkind, most of the jury I served with weren't capable.

Match Day Thread QPR v Hull City

I thought about doing both. I just couldn't face hearing some southern ****s yarp on about Hal and the silence option would have be vetoed by the others. Will think again next time, cos the stuff he spews is just so ****ing stupid and **** - it puts me on the backfoot before I can even get...

Sick to death of hearing Burns’ commentary or whatever it is that he offers. I don’t want to hear about how he thinks City should be beating the likes of these cos they’re slightly out of form; or how they definitely should have had a pen; or how we’re more likely to do this or that... I find...
