Thats what I thought. I thought with nobody dying it might be about 10 years. No sympathy though, he could have stopped at any time but carried on.

Paul Doyle sentenced to 21 years and 6 months for Liverpool parade attack. Hell of a sentence. Details of previous history disclosed including that he was thrown out the Marines after a number of incidents, including biting a man's ear off.

I didn't realise that these daft licencing rules re kids still happened, it's crazy. I think some pubs in old town need to look at themselves as well, such as lion and key and fretwells, both closed by 10pm on a weekend, and I believe that's by choice.
