    Something to think about

Thanks for the reply Do they end up as pets? I'm fascinated about the amount of money spent that's just written off at the end of the season

    Something to think about

so would this be one of the reasons that we never see Godolphin horses after three years ( unless Ferguson tried them at NH?). I always wondered what happened to so many of their horses, they can't all have gone to stud.

Daily Racing Thread Tuesday 14th. June 2016

I agree with Warrior Prince, but I'd also include the other Dunlop/De Sousa combo in the 2.00, Booshbash, they have a strike rate of around 45% and the fact that SDS misses Ascot is very significant, I'll be having a good look at all of his mounts

Daily Racing Thread Wednesday 16th. March 2016

I'm also intrigued by these, so I've stuck them in a L15 E/W along with two of Mark Walsh's mounts, Le Curieux in the 4.50, French trainer, but a little digging show's that the owner is JP, plus Waxies Dargle in the 2.50 as the T/J combo is about 57%, plus it's Meades only festival entry, plus...

Daily Racing Thread Thursday 22nd. Oct. 2015

Good Morning Can someone solve a puzzle in the 4.25 Carlise for me please. Nicky Richards won this race last year, with Brian Harding in the saddle. This year Richards has Crinkle crags entered, but with Craig Nichol riding. Last years jockey is riding for Rose Dobbin's Mac n Cheese, yet Nichol...

    Useful Horse Racing Information

I find this site very useful for all sorts of statistics http://www.totesport.com/portal?action=GoRacingPostSignPostsTravllersCheck One site I'm looking for is part of the RP's signposts section, namely the part where they have info regarding repeat perfprmances which is horses who ran in the...

    Friday 16th Daily thread

One fly in the ointment is that Frankie rides in this for Hannon as well, his only ride, before he heads off to Newmarket for the 5.05 on Sir Mike ( again his only ride there) so I'm less confident as yourself due to the riding arrangements

Aintree Day 1 Daily Racing Thread - 3rd April

If Actival or Commissioned wins the 2.00 in Aintree I suggest you get on Solar Impulse in the 3.55 at Taunton, there's a form line from Kempton in February that is very strong, however I would imagine the price will shorten considerably once the 2.00 result is known

    Friday 22nd November Daily Thread

Well, according to the trainer himself he thinks he's going there with every chance "I've made no secret that I think a good deal of him and chasing was always destined to be his thing. He showed what he could do at Ascot last season and he's a horse with a great deal of ability. He's done...

    Monday 4th November Daily Thread

I agree with you on this, the deciding factor me me was the fact that the trainer has won this race twice before in 06 and 11

    Daily Thread Friday 19th July

The horse I'll be betting on in this race is Candy's ANNAWI, the trainer won two divisions of this race in 2010, BonanzaCreek has drifted from 9/4 to 11/4, Annawi's had a fair bit of backing all morning and the E/W is nearly gone, it's into 11/2 now Good luck

Messi would win on short distance contests, Cater on longer, have a look at Messi's thighs, he's built for short bursts of energy

Appraiseform does Cheltenham - 4 days

Good luck today, I think breaking even at Cheltenham is considered a success, there's too many variables to consider......but then again, you only need one or two horses to come in and everything changes
