poor game for quality of play but i think McD set us out to frustrate them and stop them playing. I had major concerns for our full backs from their wide play, but we stop them well. For a change our defence looked good and we controlled the midfield most of the game. Good point for us!

For the people thinking this is to get pardew to resign to avoid massive compensation, there's a rumoured clause in the contract to allow him to be released with minimal compensation. The rumours were around a total of 1 years pay. Not 100% on the validity though

I can't saying agree with the original post as much as I hate fergie. He's done what no other manager has ever done. To say he's a flop with an average close to 1.5 trophies a season is laughable really. Don't forget how he's managed to rebuild teams time and time again. Love him or hate but...

Fairly sure in his press conference when signing he stated he lives in the real world and if an offer comes in it's the boards decision. He also stated it's happened before with gylfi sigurdsson and Shane long at reading and he coped then. Probably not the most credible source to troll with but...
