Its just our luck to get to play-off final in a World Cup year and have this nonsense occur. Shouldnt the FA of applied the same ruling that they have to the Champions League final. There is so much more at stake in the play-offs imo.

Apparently we offered him a contract but he delayed (politely declined) as other offers were potentially going to be tabled from prem clubs who had sent scouts to watch him play in his world cup qualifier match.
