    The most unpopular manager?

    Mick Buxton

    Favourite Sunderland player???

For me its SKP. European Golden Boot winner, could score from any distance from any angle. Great little footballer and a Sunderland record breaker to boot. If he's gone to Arsenal the year they'd put a bid in for him, he would have been one of THE greats rather than just a Sunderland great.

Please stop asking for Quinn to resign, I've got a head ache as it is.

I've stated on an earlier post, that having a Bruce out Brigade (which quite rightly is growing by the week) is one thing, but I've seen a few people on our very own board asking for Quinn to go to. What a f**king ridiculous notion. The most important person at the club at this minute is Ellis...

    SAFC in a downward spiral

Anyone who says sack Quinn can go jump for me. He is quality and only wants the best for Sunderland and unlike most fans gets to see the bigger picture day in day out. The Bruce Out Brigade is one thing and if he got sacked tonight I wouldn't shed a single tear, but Quinn out? FFS!

    Crouch bid for 10M

10 million is ridiculous, mainly because he will have zero re-sale value and will probably be our highest earner. Crouchie is decent, but creating chances doesn't seem to be much of an issue, its taking them we have a major problem with and neither Gyan or Sess can hit a barn door with a banjo...
  6. I

    Federico Macheda

Even Gyan, our record buy is not a prolific goal scorer like Benty was before we flogged him. His overall record is around 1 in 4, going towards 1 in 3 every now and then when he's been at his very best. Only his record for Ghana is worth shouting about- a very credible 1 in 2, which to be fair...

    bendtner

I don't mind buying potential only if its matched with experienced performers from whom you will know what you get. Bruce himself has said Whickam and Ji are for the next 18 months to 2 years, which is folly because if he can't get us scoring its possible he won't be here in 6 months time. So in...

On the Bruce Fence but asking a question.

Crisis? Not the last couple of horrendous matches and results. But the 5 wins in our last 31 matches. If that run took place in the middle of a season rather than the end of one and the begining of another, would it not be considered a crisis?

    Bruce out?

You didn't piss us off mate, you've actually done a disservice to your own kind.

The Sunderland team today - the myths

Pretty good analysis mate. Gyan looks like a more expensive, less consistent and not as good version of Kenwyne Jones in my opinion. Looks overweight and uninterested. Sess is quality, but we need him to be so much more clincal. No good being great on the ball if nothing comes of it. Catts is...

    The truth

We have no left winger which is why Larsson is on the left. Elmo is not a top player and runs around like a head less chicken. Gyan never has been a goal scorer wherever he has been, Sess is great on the ball, but very lightweight and not clinical enough and our other forwards in Bruce's own...

What the hell is going to happen when our luck runs out?

Not that great marra. You were garbage until that free kick. Take as much pleasure as you can, as you'll be down with the crap this season.
  13. I

Please tell me it's not true!!!!

Are we better? Hardly any of our new siginings are apparently good enough for our first eleven, so we may have a stonger bench, but overall benches win nowt.

What the hell is going to happen when our luck runs out?

Last week was a good result. Although we were lucky. The missed a penalty, had a good goal disallowed and we should have been down to ten men. This week, we should have been down to ten men again( or 9 men as it turned out) and they should have had an easy penalty. We've rode our luck in two...

    Papiss Demba Cisse

If Bruce is after him, we should be delighted- if we get him of course. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/piersedwards/2011/04/papiss_demba_cisse.html
