An absolute disaster last week. Let's see how we get on today, again a quick skim of the form, looking for a bit of value with a bit of bias towards lowly weighted horses because of the ground in the extra placed races on Hills. Threw in Main Fact in the Long Walk, the top 2 are very short...

Took a quick skim and in general went for horses with decent course/distance form in all the extra place races on Hills. Tiny stakes e/w Heinz with my price taken for interest. 12pm Fairy, Capture the Action 7/1 1:02pm Fairy, Mystic Embarr 12/1 1:37pm Fairy, Ballymadun 12/1 1:50 Chlet...

He seems a bit more restrained when he is on British TV, don't know if it is just my imagination or if he is told beforehand to mind his p's and q's. On RTE you get him live and uncensored, he can be very funny.

I gave Yorkhill 1 more chance e/w LTO, then that was me done, so wasn't on today.

Good stuff, have you been there before? Not from there but it's a great spot, AFAIK all your main pubs are on or just off the pedestrianised Shop Street. You won't go far wrong round there. Weather in Galway is always consistent too, i.e. awful.

Lorcan Williams can have a career as a stunt rider in Hollywood after the 155pm in Uttoxeter, video no doubt appearing on your social media feed any minute now. Great to hang on for 3rd.

Small bet on Oblate in the 415pm Southwell. Had him in my tracker, he missed the break over C&D LTO and finished well to be second. If he starts well he could be there. Currently 3rd fav, some 13/2 available.

Put him in my tracker LTO, he blew the start and still won well. Looks like I wasn't the only person that noticed, price very skimpy now.

What the hell??? Diego De Charmil doing roller derby on Capeland in the 210pm Ascot. Did he clear the fence? Yes, he went over and through the tall bit at the end of the fence. He defo had a grudge against Capeland anyway, you could clearly see it... Was like Senna vs Prost for thoroughbreds...

Took a skim of the card looking for value for a tiny stakes e/w Lucky 15, ideally want those that have won plenty on heavy, preferably with Chelt course form and lots of stamina. Plenty of horses going today have run in the various Nationals. However pure greed took over and I sometimes sided...

Tiny stakes e/w Lucky 31 at biggish prices for interest at Chelt with current best prices via Oddschecker 2pm No Hidden Charges 28/1 (at least he knows how to win races) 310pm Breaking The Waves 8/1 ( finished 3rd at Chelt this time last year, always like to see some Chelt course form) 3:45pm...

The road to Cheltenham starts with the 4:25pm grade 2 in Gowran Park, full of household names and mercifully 8 go to post. Have my wee each way bet on Jury Duty, was second in same race last year and won his first start of the season in 2016 and 2017, from a quick skim of the form some of his...
