    You're right.

    Inside Out Wingers

How do we know Valencia would lose all effectiveness on the left, if he always plays on the right? You are quick to dismiss the notion of wingers playing on their opposite side and yet it works for Messi, Robben, Duff, Johnson and Young, all of whom are all predominantly 'one footed' and make...

I think it is the rotation. Pav in particular I rate highly, and would like to see him given a run in the side.

    Inside Out Wingers

Further to my earlier throw away comment about Bale and Lennon swapping sides... Would anyone else also like to see the two playing more on the opposing sides of the field a la Messi, Finney, Waddle, Overmars, Pires, Robben, Duff, Adam Johnson, Ashley Young... I think Bale in particular...

I base my opinion on the evidence that he gives the ball away too much. I simply think that he is the weak link i.e. the weakest of the first choice outfield players*, and so, as such, if anyone in the first XI should be replaced then BAE it should be. If I could only replace one player, he...

    Two Seasons

The Kranjcar situation was astonishing. How he did not go in Jan is bizarre. I am glad he didn't, as I really rate the fella, but he simply has to get more games if he is to be kept on.

    Two Seasons

Absolutley bang on PleaseNotPoll. Not enough rotation, except up front where there was waaaaay too much. I also think Lennon and Bale should have swtiched sides more often during a game. This makes it more difficult for sides to go two up on Bale. They (Bale in particular) can be...

Scott Parker Holding Out For Spurs Transfer

I just dont see the need for Parker at all. A central midfielder is the last thing Spurs need... This buying players because they're decent and 'available' frustrates me... it's all a bit FM for my liking. Harry should be concentrating his efforts (and finances) on what we do need, which...

best spurs goals eva (well, since 1970)

Can't believe there is not mention of Stevie Carr's wonder strike against Man U. ...on my wedding day - a nice Wedding present that was.

I would say A & B apply in this instance IMO.

I would sell in all likelihood, as I suspect BAE would be unwilling to play second fiddle to Rose. Therefore a backup would need to be sought.

    Asamoah Gyan/Abel Hernandez/Danny Rose

Totally agree. See quite a bit of Everton, and I strongly feel that they should do with Baines what we did with Bale and push him upfield... He would be far more effective. Wasted as a full back, as was Bale.

    Asamoah Gyan/Abel Hernandez/Danny Rose

Can't see the relationship between making a lot of passes and losing possession often. It's the ratio which is key, not the number. The guy tries to play the ball out of the back way too often in my opinion, which is illustrated by his unusually high attempted pass rate for defender. Like I...

Yes, give Rose a shot. BAE as backup. If that didn't work out then buy one I guess. Give the lad his shot though... Looks a natural to me... Left back for Spurs has to be one of the easiest jobs in the Prem, with the way Bale tracks back.

Get rid. From what little we have seen of Rose, seems to me that he should given the chance. Looks hugely more assured in possession than BAE. Defensively BAE has come on a lot, but for me he remains massively over confident in possession and squanders it too often. At the back you need to...
