    Joe Allen How Much?

I really hope we re-sign him, Joe is a leader, he's the sort of player we need in the team. He'll give everything for us on the pitch and off, bring him home! 13M is a snip

Match Day Thread Swansea v. Chelsea

Fantastic spirit from the players (Gomis excepted), fantastic 3 points and surely safety now, what a lift for the city!

Match Day Thread Swansea v. Aston Villa

That really was a dreadful team performance but a very lucky wonderful three points which will hopefully see us scrape over the line to safety. Britton was MOM with Ash not far behind, Fer was slow and disinterested, how did he stay on? Guids and Fer should not be renewed.

Match Day Thread Swans v Bournemouth

Bloody dreadful, we're very lucky to be still in this. first goal looked offside, penalty looked a poor decision. almost seems like Monk wants out. if he doesn't then he needs to get Fernandez on for Bartley, the defence are shocking, and at the same time get Siggurdson on for Britton.

    "Swansea duo ...

It's 30 odd years since i had a Cresci's ice cream, but i can still remember it like it was yesterday, i reckon it was better than Joe's or Forte's come to that. Don't remember Francis John but i did get my hair done by Ken - the barber next door to Cresci's chip shop

    "Swansea duo ...

My dad used to clean Gaynor's frocks, he always spoke very highly of her. As a kid i spent most saturday mornings over in Skewen, Lunch was always taken across the road at Cresci's where i'd marvel at Alf's moustache. Saturday afternoons naturally were spent down the Vetch.

    Swansea City v The Toon

i'm also nervously confident, we've been quite poor the last couple of (league) games. so i think we're due a better performance also i'm not sure if the toon are all playing for pardew or not. Wilf to come good today, 3-1 to the swans

    Ardiles sees the light

i was at that game, i was in the small standing enclosure on the south stand. it happened on the touchline near where i was standing, still have vivid memories of it. At the time i thought it was just a good robust well-timed tackle, but i'd see it different now. i certainly wouldn't want...

    deadline day

i hate transfer deadline day, always a worry as to who may be coveted by the big spenders and this D-Day looks particularly fraught. i would happily forego any new faces coming in as long as none of our regulars leave.

Nothing to do with transfers whatsoever!

TLF, Bentleys was called Nutz in an earlier incarnation, had a few good nights there as well as Baron's and Cinders. there was also Neptunes and Secrets down Mumbles. in town i did the Valbonne a few times during an ill-advised disco phase, invariably got beaten up by the bouncers and chucked...
