I once saw Paul Furlong (I think) try to do the same thing to Gary Bennett, near the Main Stand paddock. Benno just ran through him and I think Furlong went off injured.

Nothing wrong with a bit optimism from time to time

To be honest if a son of mine was good enough to be a professional footballer I'd be well chuffed even if it was for the mags, besides if he was any good he wouldn't be there that long anyway.

Spurs fans used to boo him and he always raised his game against them. I'd rather everyone turned their back to him when he comes onto the pitch but that would be canny hard to orchestrate. I dont' normally bet on goalscorers but it's probably worth a few quid on the twat scoring as well!
