I agree with you, but their intentions don't change the value of the club. If they'd got the promotion they could have left the 25m in the club AND made their desired profit from a potential takeover in the championship. If they'd got investment in and retained a stake, they could have made even...- Henz

He may have only paid £12m (or whatever) but that doesn't meant that was the value of the club. If this £25m was paid to Short then that would make the value nearer £40m. What he paid doesn't diminish the value of the club, though whether it's worth anywhere near that now is another story.- Henz

Unless I've missed the point, would Donald have let them? It would appear he possibly has his eye on the £20/25m for himself and letting FPP have the club for £15m wouldn't deliver that.- Henz
