    Archway Appeal Over

I think they can try and negotiate for a better deal if the winning party are willing but they cannot hold out indefinitely as I think there will be a date to vacate and if they dont the bailiffs step in and evict them

    Referees, Diving Panels and Respect

exactly my point if anything occurs during a game whether in play or when play is stopped it should be punished,

    Referees, Diving Panels and Respect

I agree, I think I heard one of the so called ex pro experts laughably say that the ref cant act because when the pulling and holding is taking place in most cases the ball isnt actually in play, well they must watch a different game than we do

    Referees, Diving Panels and Respect

why not go all out for a season with the refs being miked up and all conversations being monitered, accepting no one except the captain approaching and confering with him while on the field and the manager of each team allowed a certain time after the game to air his concerns over desisions in...

I would be very surprised if they were not at least asked to be involved as it was a local event for an ex player that has some historical interest on so many levels

    the perils of appointing

agree spurf, how many managers have actually been succesful at more than one club, my example of burkenshaw proves that it can all come right at one club and not aywhere else

    the perils of appointing

an inexperienced coach to be manager. In 1976 spurs appointed a coach who had been working for them for a year after being sacked by newcastle utd a year earlier to the role of manager, at the end of that season we were relegated, there is the peril of appointing him, but wait, they didnt sack...

Who the f**k does Tim Sherwood think he is?

do we have any choice though, the names banded about at the moment dont want to come, so do we just appoint someone because we need to or work hard for the next 5 months trying to persuade our targets that we are a good move for them

Who the f**k does Tim Sherwood think he is?

what I meant to say was it seems that theres not a lot of managers out there at the moment who are available or are willing to leave the clubs they are with, so stick with sherwood untill the end of the season then go after the man or men you really want

Who the f**k does Tim Sherwood think he is?

agree with this, my thoughts exactly, personally I would have kept avb untill summer to avoid the turmoil, but as it stands now leave sherwood for remainder of the season and then rethink things

    Ade and Benny

they were both guilty of disiplinery reasons ie trashing an executive box and attitude problems. both should never be allowed anywhere near spurs again

twenty years ago today one of our greatest players passed away and this article was posted on eufa.com to remember him, to those too young to remember him you dont know what you missed, to those of us old enough to have seen him we will never forget his style on the 20th anniversary of his...
