I take your point sir, hence the 1 year extension, which would mean in jan he would cost more and clubs would either wait till he had 1 year left or have to pay more. But who knows the crazy machinations of football transfers. we will just have to wait and see i guess.

There is probably a very good reason for this that im not getting but: Why dont we sit him down and say 'look jose, you want to play in europe and we understand that, and dont want to hold you back, but why dont you stay with us for one more season and see how we do, a europa league spot...

Hmm, ditto here wierdly, i had to do an extra year after dropping my honours (too much of the green/booze/skirt) but came back to get a 2:1, que mightly pissed off coursemates. didnt help much that i barely changed my antics, just my revision technique (i.e. do some).

congrats, i got a 2:1 as well back in the day. Proper degree that, people who get 1sts are brainiacs with no ability to work well with others!! thats what i hear anyway. 2:1 means you can hold your drink and still get a good mark. pity the thora hurds.

Id really like to see Vuckic get more play here and find his feet, would seem better that way, but with our packed midfield im doubtful of that happening alas.

The problem with Carrol is that part of me is gutted about it all (ameliorated by the 35mil admittedly) but the other part wants to see him do well. oh the dichotomy of man!
