If Ade was late then he deserved the fine. He got game time on Saturday because we needed him, and will continue to need him over the next couple of games.

Ade and Benni made a real difference for us today, we looked far more balanced and comfortable when they arrived in the second half. Having a recognised striker on the pitch changes the shape of the game for us, something we were lacking in the first half.

If you think players aren't aware of how fans feel about them then you are incredibly naive. There is a general negative attitude toward Ade at the moment, highlighted by Spurs fans on this forum. You may not boo him, but you aren't going to sing his name either, and the two go hand in hand.

Agreed but the lack of opportunity to play that 'main man' striker role has contributed to that. He doesn't perform well with Defoe along side him, and I think he struggles to find his place in the team in that system. Last year in that lone striker role he scored 17 goals in 32 premier league...
