Word from Steve Rowley (Arsenal chief scout) is that Arsenal would negotiate for Dempsey at the 10 million quid mark. I have heard like C58 that a bid has been lodged, for Dempsey by Arsenal. We've apparently told Arsenal to wait till season's end.

Kaca was injured towards the end of the Bolton game. Clutching his hamstring in tiredness about a minute before he was subbed. We need fresh legs to cause more mayhem.

Aaron is the in form of the 3. I say he is first choice at the moment.

Ruiz would be useful in a withdrawn role behind the striker. Against United you need players capable of those magic moments. Frei, Dembele and Dempsey with Pog up top. 4-2-3-1 but with more pace in it and more of an outlet with Frei. That has a lot of potential in it.

The need for a new Right Back is the only thing that can be said about yesterday's game. We didn't want to get drawn in to Villa's physical game, I think that cost us, but Jol has employed that tactic so effectively in the last 3 games.

I will forever remember Poggers scream in my face and jump on me. He is my new hero. Although I still give MOTM to Hangeland. With Poggers a close 2nd.

Frei shouldn't have been brought on vs Blackburn. We took off a CM for a winger. Course we were going to get overrun. I don't think Pog was amazing. He just worked hard and had his heart in it. We brought on the wrong player. Trotta should have come on to have that outlet.

He played for the reserves last night as a trialist. We were impressed by all accounts.

I think we have to drop Ruiz. When Dembele is back then Dembele for Duff (Not because Duff is a bad player, more Dembele is an immense player!) and have Baird play in the middle. AJ and Bobby for a month, if AJ continues his form for that period, reward him with the extra year he wants. 2...
