Transfer Rumours Transfer window Summer 2021

3 appearances and 1 goal isn’t too shabby. Sean Dyche doesn’t play you in his defence if you’re not competent at being a defender first and foremost, I think he’ll be tailor made for this division.

Transfer Rumours Transfer window Summer 2021

Really like this Jimmy Dunne signing, young CB, held his own in the Prem last season, hungry to get games under his belt. Whisper it quietly, but getting our business done early, in time for a full pre season may prove very astute.

Delighted with the Sam Field signing. The most important of the lot for me, his versatility, that presence in CM we've been lacking and has re-sale value. Great business by the club and I believe we've got a very good player in Field who with a proper pre-season under his belt will really shine...

Agreed, can't knock him for wanting regular football. Best move for all parties really.

Transfer Rumours January 2021 Transfer Window

I think we're in for an interesting summer. Logic would suggest the board will continue to try and do sensible business and focus on players with re-sale value (Sam Field fits this category perfectly). Our encouraging 2021 form however, may put a spanner in the works. Have the board realised...

Match Day Thread Swansea City vs QPR

Considering where we were before Xmas...wow what a 2021 we’ve had. Thought after we settled into the game after 15 mins we absolutely bossed them. Should have been 3 or 4 and wouldn’t have been an unjust scoreline. What a turnaround for Dykes, Willock continues to impress and a notable mention...

Was like watching two completely different teams in those halves. What a win. Dykes vastly improved, deserved a goal. Dieng superb as always, and also agree that Lee Wallace deserves a bit more credit than the fans give him. Solid presence down that left. Much needed response after Saturday’s...

You might be right Bob, but let's wait and see. If Fulham stay up, then it increases our chances with Johansen. We're on his doorstep, play in a way which suits his style, he'd be one of our key men. It's a good sell if we meet the wage requirement. The foundation I'm speaking of is the fact...

Awful game but we won so who cares. 2 on the bounce, another clean sheet. Maybe the start of a second winning run who knows? Some real positives to take into next season, starting to build a foundation.

De Wijs lasted an hour, understandably so given his time off, but it was a good debut. Early days but looks that sort of presence at the back you need in this league, did the basics of defending very well. Johansen was the best player on the pitch but Field complimented him well in the middle of...

Great win. When I saw the team-sheet I thought we might have half a chance with De Wijs, Field and Willock all starting. Arguably our strongest team on paper. Was important to stop the mini rut today, two goals and a clean sheet away from home. Can’t complain about that at all.

Match Day Thread QPR vs Barnsley

Oh I know, it was a great run but it’s typically a formation reverted to if you’ve previously been on a crap run, papered over the cracks for us but it’d nice to pick a system, recruit players to suit that system and not have to panic sign loan players to bail us out in January. Let’s get it...

Poor performance. Back to reality. We’ll stay in the division which was the target let’s not forget. It’s the hope that kills you. A lot of work and tough decisions ahead this summer. I personally don’t like the 3-5-2, and would like us to be a bit more expansive and play with proper wide men.

Looking ahead to next season, we really need to address the lack of speed in our side. Must be the slowest starting XI in the division by a country mile.

Match Day Thread Preston North End vs QPR

A game that lacked some quality in truth. Not one for the purist. Maybe the conditions played a part in that. Certainly had good enough chances to win the game, but admittedly so did they and I don’t think either team deserved to win the game really. Positives are that we didn’t lose, and...
