DferPolarBear Online now since late 90's at Jax's ChelseaFC chit chat and post board, known from the old BBC 606 board, and Yahoo Group ChelseaMatchdayChat and Dfer Bear at Facebook. After Jax's page melted down the first time I started a matchdaychat with MarkII on yahoo where we got over 400 regular Chelsea fans attend although most lurked we did achieve two rooms of 50 chatters each during matches, with myself and Mark providing overseas fans with at least an online radio link, or indeed I would hold a mic to my radio and broadcast over the net using Yahoo's group voice chat, often though in the early days it was me typing critical moments as they happened while the rest of the room commented. Then of course Yahoo stopped Group chat. Returned to Jax at Chelsea and found he'd improved things. Unfortunately the Chelsea servers often broke their rubber bands and then Chelsea tried to outsource chat to a facebook app. We all petitioned Jax to sort out the official Chelsea live chat and he did so long as no more than 5 people try to use it at once. Hence Dfer's Chelsea Chit Chat on during matches. Unfortunately the best place to host it is Facebook. It is a private by invite only group, so we are a small (20 odd members) years old grizzled hard core from UK (me), USA and far east. I usually speak in Polarese which Jax and the ChelseaFC website posters understood but the BBC 606 users and BBC mods struggled with.
