Match Day Thread Palace v Hull City

Thought the lads were brilliant today, so pleased I got there. Some squecky bum times but eh this is City. We were close at the Scummers but today we deserved it. Alukos best game by a country mile. Still got a chance.

    southampton away

Trying to get to this one. Only 120 miles but it takes about 3 hours by car dependent on traffic, really **** road. Spoken to a couple of Scummer fans today, they reckon it's nearly a sell out!!!! Not our end obviously.⚽️

Blast from the past. Memories of the early to mid seventies. Huge side burns and long greasy hair. RIP Jimmy.

Match Day Thread Hull City v Chelsea Divers

Just got down Plymouth Hoe for breakfast, then the day starts for a football feast, City shirt on pubs planned for route. Just hope the lads give 100% and nobody hides from the ball. Got a feeling Aluko may play today for his pace, if he does and plays like he did against West Ham it could be a...

Off Topic Hull in the top 50 Urban Places to live according to the Sunday Times

This is positive news. Iam very proud to be born and bred in Hull. I left home on 1981 to join the Navy and soon found that all matelots loved Hull for its pubs, clubs and down to earth people. I have lived in Plymouth now since 1981 but still come up regular to see family friends and my beloved...

    On this day in 1958...

My dad was in the army based at Chelsea Barracks. He went to watch the last game they played at Highbury on Feb 2nd against Arsenal. It ended 4-5 to United. He still says it the best match he has ever seen. Freezing weather muddy pitch the Babes all in white playing some great football. He said...

    Lennon

According to Sky he is having second thoughts about coming to City after the game against Newcastle. Seems to be weighing up other options. If it's true move on eh.

Is it time for Steve Bruce to leave the club?

No we have to stick with him now. It is ****e at the moment but I cannot think of anyone else doing any better. He seems a genuine honest bloke who knows there is a major problem with his team. Phelan coming in will be like a breath of fresh air and Bruce will trust his opinion. There is still...

Premier League Relegation: The Battle at the Bottom

I still think there is a long way to go yet. If we start to get some players back and hope something can be done in this transfer window, I think we could just pull it off and stay up. If the Phelan rumour is good, well that could be the start of some brightness at the KC.

Match Day Thread West Ham V Hull City

You cannot blame Bruce for that loss. Comfortable at half time in fact if we had a fit forward we could of been 1 or 2 up. Second half totally different game we loose 2 influential players who are playing well it disrupts everything. Then another nightmare moment for Mcgregor and we are in the...

Altidore offered in exchange for Defoe

Looks looks like Sunderland are willing to pay 14 million and 80,000 a week for his services, on a 3 year contract. Seems a lot for a 32 year old. Bet he is chuffed with that deal.

Area you lived as a child

Lived in Hessle until I was 16 then joined the Navy 1981. Lived in Plymouth ever since. Still have great friends and family living in Hull and my two girls are now avid City fans. Used to love larking about little switsie and my bog bike, playing football in reca and using the Boothferry Road...
