It is not about today or "one very poor game". Having seen us play well and yet toss points away at Wigan and Newcastle because of rank bad defending, I am frustrated and worried for our Premier League survival.

Sorry, but I have said for some time that with Yoshida and Fox featuring regularly in our side we will struggle to stay up. We played well at Wigan and Newcastle but it cannot be said we "deserved" more because we actually defended poorly.

"Yoshida is looking good"... I cannot believe you have posted that. He is an accident waiting to happen at any given moment in time. There is only one worse defender at Saints and that is Fox. Put them in the same side and we struugle to close out games.

I so hope you are right and it stays that way ;-))

Two things sadden me about this episode in Saint's history... To the wider football world SFC will be looked at as no better than Chelski, Forest, Blackburn, etc. apparently sacking managers on a whim for another who "matches their ambitions" better. Most neutrals will now hope Saints will go...
