It's been a while since I posted on here but last night has finally made me realise that Hughton has lost the plot.
Some of the tactical decisions he has made over the last three or four games have been ridiculous.
First half against West Ham, we were shocking, second half, he changed...

I watched both the Hull/Chelsea and Palace/Spurs games and despite a lot of effort and a high work rate, both looked toothless.
Lampard could and should have had a first half hat-trick against Hull and I honestly believe the only reason it wasn't more that 2-0 was because Chelsea were taking it...
Exactly this.
One of the big problems with playing Hoolahan off a lone striker, and it's been a problem right back to the odd occasion Lambert deployed the formation, is that Hoolahan doesn't make forward runs or anticipate flick ons. The amount of times a ball was played forward last season...

Yup, Gary Lineker tweeted that there had been some 'graphical errors' that had been sorted for the repeat. I'm pretty sure they used the same picture for three of the Arsenal subs as well
I would agree with most of that, particularly about looking stronger when Hoolahan left the pitch. He wanted one touch too many on a number of occasions and a couple of times counter attacks broke down because he held onto the ball too long instead of playing a first time ball to Redmond.

I'll kick things off, bit negative this one, but we've only won four opening fixtures in the last 20 years.
Our last opening day win was a 4-0 victory over Grimsby in the 02/03 season. Surely we're due an opening win soon?
