    Owen's done one

With Bolton's huge debt problems they will need a cheap solution. Perhaps that is where Captain Tango comes in. He's won promotion from the Championship before so he's got the experience. Obviously he has links with the club and lives locally. It would make a lot of sense.

    No surgery for Fryatt

While wer're doing 'ok' sure.... he doesn't seem such a big loss. But at some point in the season the goals will dry up and we'll need him. He hit 17 for us last season. I didn't see anyone in the forward camp come close to that!

Why are half the people on here STILL being pessimistic?

Just what I was thinking. I'm looking forward to Fryatt returning. For a start I find it bad news that he's out. (He got 17 goals for us last season playing in a team that was not best suited to him). His chances of bagging regularly in our current formation/style are much great imo...

    Jack Hobbs

Alex Bruce seems to be doing ok so far this season, but I don't think Steve Bruce got to where he is today by playing his son 'just' because he is his son (for example). He's no fool and a good manger. Ref. our current league position and the recent performances against Bolton and Millwall.

    Monday signing

Exactly. If we a are serious about promotion, then we need to keep adding strikers to the squad whenever possible. Assuming they are better than what we already have!

Babe of the Day 2nd September

Very girl next door-y! Reminds me of Isla Fisher. <smooch>

Babe of the Day 31st August

    Like Frankensteins' Monster?

    too many hangmen on here.

Only immature players would think that Bruce will favour his son over others (because he is his son). Alex Bruce will only play if he's the best option for the team. Surely everybody can see that?

    Team for the Rochdale game.

What's the craic with Craig ***an and Brian Hughes playing for us? They on trial or something?

    Yellow Lamborghini?

    Steve Bruce's?

Babe of the Day 6th July

A bit too brown for me...... the stairs I mean.

    Michael Keane and Ryan Tunnicliffe

The name Tunnicliffe rings a bell for sure, but I've never heard of Keane. All the young lads we've had from Old Trafford have pretty much been a success. It's only good news that we are looking to bring in more. I wonder if we'll go back again for King? He started slowly for us last...

Ehab Allam: Steve Bruce has no limit placed on his budget

    Koren

Unless Steve Bruce has other plans for a midfield re-design, I expect he will be staying. We'll probably offer him a new deal to sweeten him up. Reading are PL, but they are newly promoted and are not a bigger club than Hull City. Our aim is to get up to the PL next year anyway.

Change in how to run the club?

You are right of course. But that doesn't mean or prove in any way that Pearson was wrongly removed does it? I prefer not to judge the situation as I know nothing about it other than pub gossip. Which goes for the rest of us on these boards if we are honest. Pearson is gone, and we...
