    Pop robson, new role as chief scout

    Bryan 'Pop' Robson, despite having history with sunderland, is and always will be a Geordie - he is a Newcastle supporter and always has been. His 'professionalism' may mean that he will do his best for us but his heart is with the mags.

    Has anyone ever thought to ask when Welbeck's present contract with Man U expires? Unless the lad signs another new contract we could look to sign him permanently then.
