It won't mean much to you guys since its outside of London but The Rose and Crown in Congleton was where I grew up drinking. It was a proper pub, with lock ins, smoking indoors (!) , pool tables, jukeboxes and darts and held many a happy memory for me. Its where I met my Wife to be 15 years ago...
