Evening chaps, This place is quiet nowadays. Quite sad but there we go. Energumene at 5/2-2/1 is the worst bet of the Festival. AND YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK. I don’t care if it wins the race. It is a terrible, terrible price based on everything it’s done thus far.

Energumene will not win next years Champion Chase. And you can take that to the bank.

He, maybe the tactics didn’t help but I don’t think they would have beaten TR anyway. Doesn’t help Easysland chance when you let a specialist have a merry time of it up front. That may be it for TR so a fitting way for a genuine top notcher to go out.

I wait on Easysland for a chunky antepost payout but even at odds on I don’t have that warm fuzzy feeling. Clearly the best horse in the race if you assume TR can’t be the force of old but something is nagging me.
