Yes, Hull is grim (people are mostly fine though - same as anywhere else) My Mrs used to work at Hull Royal Infirmary - even the staff toilets had weird blue lighting so folks couldn't find veins, tells a story<yikes>

I agree with the sentiment of "why would you do it when you know you'll get booked", just stupid. But I would counter that with, why is it a booking anyway? WTF is going on when someone decides that pulling your shirt over your head is a yellow card offence? How long has it been in now, 7-8...

back on topic, although we got the result on weds, I reckon we need more big guns in the cup team if a cup run is a target, otherwise stick with the 2nds. Malky has to decide what he wants from the cup and then choose a strategy early in the comp.

It wasn't a failed play Rhondda, I got it. Until I see these 3 or 4 signings, I remain concerned, after all if any of our targets are not here by the start of the season, then injuries (or whatever) to other players in the current club might make our targets unavailable.

As per the title, less than 3 weeks to the start of our season and what does the team look like? As it stands, right now, with the players we have, what is the likely starting 11? Any duty rumours over further signings? It's gone a bit quiet on that front.

Come on, I want to know who's coming! Even a totally unsubstantiated rumour would do right now!

Not sure I agree with the fans not putting up with it, after last season I reckon Hammers fans will put up with anything if it gets them results. On the other hand, I don't reckon they have the players to make it work nor the cash to buy ones that will, so Sam may be a good outside punt after all.

Taffthefish, are those bookies odds for getting sacked at all during the season OR to be the 1st sacking? Makes a difference, as to whether I'll take a punt
