    a word of caution

I predicted at the end of last season that if we made a couple of decent signings we should achieve 50pts this season. We've made better signings than I expected and based on what I've seen, I still feel 50pts is readily achievable. We now have a pundit-wide prediction that we'll be comfortable.

    Figgy to Wigan on loan

Sagbo was odd loan for Wolves when they already have a similar player in Sako. Good move for Fig. Maybe extended to Jan and then made perm.

    CSKA Moscow v Manchester City

I reckon 5-0 down inside 40mins makes the chances of that slim. Bayern are sensational.

No issue with him hanging himself with his shoelaces.

    Estonia V England

Calgary, on the topic of off topic things, MrsFT and myself are just booking a jaunt to Calgary for Jan 2016 :) Washington first for 4 days then Calgary (inc Banff and Lake Louise) for 10 days then home via MY for 4 days. I'll be looking for guidance if that's ok?

OT For any Ian Curtis/Joy Division Afficionados out there

Makes a mockery of the vast majority of modern artists songwriting. Clearly he bled, cried and felt every line he wrote. It painfully exposed him but made for a brilliant catalogue of lyrics and songs. I've never felt music more than the day John Peel died and they played 'Atmosphere' on R1.

Friday night is Northern Soul night

Browsed and couldn't see it mentioned but there's a Northern Soul based film being released. Producer/Director mortgaged her house to make it. Full of genuine fans as extras, some great dancehall sequences. It was on BBC Breakfast this morning. Lisa Stansfield is in it. Proper NS old boy is...

O/ T. Ben Flower. Hitting a player on the deck.

I say the same about RL and RU, it's now just big fella's running into other big fella's. This so called 'physicality' has removed so much of the skill. Majority of points are scored late on, not due to skill, it's just they are all ****ed from running into each other. I remember RU in my early...

    OT - Hull Fair

Just had a browse, looks good. Can you just rock up to it or is it solely for the weekend campers?

    OT - Hull Fair

I've not been back since I saw a goldfish in a bag go flying through the air when I was 9. Totally traumatised. It's for the young'uns I think.

    O/T The cat appreciation thread!

Cats can **** off. Dogs were created to make man feel like God, cats were created to remind man that he's not.

    OT - The Blacklist

It's excellent but very tongue in cheek. James Spader makes it very watchable, he's brilliant. It's a good concept and definitely worth a watch.
