    10 games in...

Looks like it. We're pushovers in defence AND a constant threat going forward. It's interesting to note where our goals were conceded from and how many from set pieces as opposed to open play.

    BR:

Me neither. BR will always be up there with Vialli for me. He's comes across as very arrogant and the way he treated us was appalling. No respect at all. If you're saying that his wife made the decision to move that really doesn't make me think better of the man!

    10 games in...

If you want an interesting look at the first ten games in geeky statistical format take a look at this: http://experimental361.com/ It's a bit of a marvel. Interesting stats for us, particularly the majority of our goals being conceded through set pieces and through the centre of the pitch.

The thing with the envelopes is hilarious. I hear Stuart Downing's name is in all three :)

    Observer Match Report

:) It's very rare you get a full and comprehensive match report in any of the national newspapers. It's pretty rare there's much of anything in most of the broadsheets but I also find the red-tops seem to produce reports by rote based on little research. You often find that incidents are...

    Observer Match Report

Interesting match review from the Observer yesterday. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/sep/22/watford-bristol-city-championship Am I the only one who thought we should have had a nailed on pen and that Neuton was onside when he scored? Anyway, i was fairly encouraged by...

Favorite Golden Boy of all time and why...

Luther and Cally come a close joint second to Barnesy who was simply the most talented footballer I've seen play for Watford.

    Bye Bye Tiny

What I was getting at was that the number of players brought in is almost a whole squad's worth. If Zola has to sift through them to decide who he wants to play that's going to take time - much smarter would have been to target players he thought he needed, which is the sort of thing that...

    Bye Bye Tiny

Thats the continental model...but do they present him with options for him to pick from or do they loan him in a squad that he has to sift through. There is a difference. And does that extend, as in this case, to taking away players the club dont deem necessary even if he,as he admits, actually...

    Bye Bye Tiny

http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/9915898.Taylor_and_Zola_on_defender_s_departure/ Hmm, Zola wanted him to stay but "believes" the club has a policy of only giving one year contracts to older players. Whose policy? When did this come into force. I don't buy it...

    The international break

Definitely a good time for us. With the Fans Forum coming up and the loan window opening it will be interesting to see what happens in the near future. I'm still oscillating between being excited and being worried about what is going on at the club. I was always deeply mistrustful of...

    The Rumours Thread!

Great. I was wondering what we were going to do for a right back this season. We've only got hodgson.....and doyley...oh and thompson. Oh.
