    so here we are!

Its all about which two from Crawley and Torquay and us can handle the pressure in the run in the most. But both clubs are just as likely to falter as we are and nobody is going to win all 7.

has graham turner dropped a big goolie

At least 9?? I would say no more that 6. Realistically, Oxford, Gillingham and Crewe are too far behind to reach the top 3. Need to get that winning feeling back again thou.

    Shrewsbury - Crewesbury

Guess we were overdue a draw or two, last one was a couple of months ago and they do say win your home games avoid defeat away. Need a win tommorow and saturday really thou. Not sure if town can win all the home matches (if they did I recon it will be enough) so proberly need a couple more...

    Shrewsbury - Crewesbury

This is got to be the easiest away day of the season to get to if your from Shrewsbury. Only half an hour on the train, with the ground and pubs within a few minutes walk.

    after southend?

Would take a draw at Crawley and Southend but would be better to win one and lose the other. Despite Rotherhams start we have a decent record against them recently and their current home means its hardly going to be intimidating. Barnet surely is a must win though.

Should we sacrifice the Carling Cup?

Should we write a letter offering right of passage to the next round as well as you jokingly suggested Arsenal could do? <laugh> Tbh although its very unlikely, hopefully you will be regretting that last comment.

Should we sacrifice the Carling Cup?

Any of those would be just fine. <laugh> Seriously thou, chances are whatever team Arsene puts out should win the game but Shrewsbury are under no pressure so might as well go for it.

Should we sacrifice the Carling Cup?

Yes I think you should sacrifice it, preferably straight away.

a tougher league to be promoted from

"throwing away up to 21 points this season may prove very costly indeed". I suspect you don't seriously mean it but there is no way that 3 clubs in League 2 will manage to get 118 points. Give or take a few points I don't think it will be any tougher or any any less tough than last season.

    are we being stiched up?

I think you will find that its been 7 years since we gained promotion from the conference. 14 years ago we were relegated from what is now League 1. Also the idea that Town can't afford promotion is just plain daft considering the gate money, transfers and other factors. A buyout is a nice idea...
