Match thread - Swansea v Everton

Fully agree. The goalkeeper was the difference today. At times we played very well, passed the ball quickly around. That's exactly the way how to cope with a high pressing Everton side. But I have to admit that we are not creating enogh chances, We played today against a very strong Everton...

    A Man of Honour

Seconded. Laudrup is without argument a man of his words, a very honest bloke, no bollocks from him. He is IMO a true gentleman. I've always rated him very highly. I am proud that he is the manager of Swansea City.

    The Deadwood Stage....

LOL, strange way to expose your ignorance about football.

    Ki

First of all I've allways rated Ki. But the problem with Ki is IMO, that KI had a "down" last season, not so focused at times. I think Laudrup and the staff did expect more goals from Ki in the same way he was a scoring for Celtic and his national side. That is why other players in Ki's positon...

    So now we know.

IMO top priority is to get a very good central defender. Hector Moreno (Espanyol) could be a good choice. We could also bring in a dynamic winger to cross balls to Bony, Michu and Shelvey. Maybe a player on loan if we cannot afford to buy. Raheem Sterling would be a good option IMO. But if we...

    Bony Out For Weeks

Waste of time reading this thread. Some posters in here an not genuine Swansea fans. Genuine Swansea fans are supporting the club, the manager and the players.

    Wilfred Bony .

At Werder Bremen 2 seasons ago the former dutch topscorer Bas Dost was playing from the beginning in the starting XI most of the games, but he didn't succeed at all and ended to sit permanently on the bench. All confidence was gone. IMO Laudrup has chosen the right approach to let Bony slowly...

    Tired of referees.

Interesting statement from former referee Winter: Link

    Raheem Sterling linked with Swans!

Sterling is a great player with pace and skill. But BUY him, no loan IMO cos we should'nt be developing players of the opponents.

    Tired of referees.

yeah , but if the mistake is so evident like the late penalty given in the Stoke game then it would be becomingly by the referee afterwards to apologize. I find it directly impudent not to do so. Swansea City was robbed two points. Noone except the referee did see this "penalty".

    Wilfred Bony .

I was very impressed by Bony's second goal, especially because the delivery by Jonjo Shelvey was magnificent as well expressing so much willpower and commitment and the pass was perfectly served for Bony, who scored in a way that only strong centerforwards can do it. Bony is geting better and...

    Swansea City v Stoke City

Dyer, Shelvey and Bony were decisive today Great commitment and winning mentality . I also liked the work ratio of Pozuelo. As a Swansea fan I am naturally frustrated by the outcome, and by a penalty, which should never have been given, yes, but the performance in the second leg was so...

    Man city 7-0 Norwich

Hughton is a good manager and Norwich can play very well, but at the moment they have a down. Like Norway-jack I really hope they turn it around. Stupid to sack the manager IMO.

JDG keen to remain at Swansea

Strange how differently we are interpreting the situation. I think they BOTH were very selfish, as it wasn't prearranged who should take the penalty. Afterwards ML admitted it was his fault not having this sorted out in advance. JDG was the kicker at set pieces and the specialist, so naturally...
