QPR fans planning to travel by train from London St Pancras to the Leicester match on May 24 should note that rail replacement buses will operate both ways between Bedford & Leicester that day. Please share this info with fellow supporters who may be planning to go to the match.

On the subject of matches being held up by severe weather... Does anyone remember a QPR match at Loftus Road sometime in the 90s being held up at half time due to a torrential hail storm? Can't remember exactly when it was or who we played though!
The MLS season in US/Canada runs from March-October, but I think there are fewer teams there than the English Football Leagues. Our season is ten months long (August-May) compared to theirs at eight months.

Uhm... yes I know! But clubs would rather have bums on seats in the stadium wouldn't they rather than bums on sofas at home watching Sky? That's exactly why the 3pm kick offs are not televised in this country.
I think it's stupid that they can allow a match to be played so late on Boxing Day. As it is, there are no trains at all across the National Rail network on Boxing Day so it will be difficult for fans to get to the match unless they drive or take the club coach - and will people really want to...
