Off Topic Hull City Centre Public Realm Strategy

If Earl de grey was in a diiferent location, say on the car park to Oriel House, on High street, it would be well worth saving. With it's present location though, fronting on to a major dual carrageway, it could never be an attractive place for the touristy types to visit. Knock it Down I'm...

Off Topic Council plans to fill in remains of historic Beverley Gate in Hull opposed

Does anyone know if this building is being demolished and replaced, or simply re-furbished. It is rather a horrible 70's Building. Looks like they took a liitle part of my old school, Biigin Hill, on Bransholme and dumped it there.

Great find that. Really interesting. I do actually think we have some very good quality post war buildings in the City Centre. Thank Christ though, they didn't build that dual carrageway through the old town. It would have destroyed High Street and most of the heritage we have left. They did...

Off Topic Hull City Centre Public Realm Strategy

I actually think that most of this WILL happen. It's so important for the presentation of the City to the hundreds of thousands of visitors, that will come during the C of C. I am pretty sure that moving the momument will not happen though, and I for one, am glad about that. To me, it is in the...

Any City fans in Jylland, Denmark?

If there are any City fans living in Denmark, without tickets of course. We are a group of, mainly Hull, ex-pats getting together to watch the final in a pub (Sherlock Holmes) in Aarhus. Any other, like minded, people are welcome to join us. (As long as they wear Black and Amber of course)
