I don't agree, it's not knocking, it's opinion. I would still rather see Jak in goal, he is the better keeper. Marshall had some good saves today, but we still conceded 3 goals with him in goal and I can't say whether the Jak would have saved Campbell's or not, but in my opinion, he would have made an attempt, Marshall was simply flat footed. But that's my opinion and we are entitled to our own point of view.
His celebration in the Cardiff game for one, I have nothing against ex players celebrating a goal against us, in fact I would prefer more do it, but not the way he made a twat of himself.
Adored because he was very good, despised because he left us,hated because he scores against us. Just a few quotes on various websites btw. Should we add the Allam effect?
Have to say the Palace fans all seemed to join in with the minute applause too which was wonderful to see .. RIP Brian
Don't have time to post a lot but my Dad always spoke of a Brian as a great team player who gave 100%.
Like others who went to the game today. I am pleased to see us take the fight to the opposition. Enjoyed it immensely and the only spoiler was their late goal.
The lad says the same. Just don't see how we can attract players whilst the virus from within remains.
It's so annoying because looking at that table with a different result in the boro game would make fairly pleasant reading 3 at the back has to be how we set up with our squad yet it's taken MP a long time to work that out. There's no point trying to pick a team based on how the other team sets up as we don't have the players to play a different formation. Play to your strengths...
Just had a quick look at the BBC report and Lineker (the ****er) tweets about Snodgrass diving. ****ing hell has he watched Vardy and if so does he tweet about his dives?
It's intuitive, surely; pick your best players and choose a system that suits them. Playing with 3 at the back liberates Elmo and Robertson - both of them are happier going forward rather than having the opposition come at them. Playing with three across the middle means we can find a place for Huddlestone who has the ability to control a game. City will have a fighting chance if we continue with the formation Phelan chose today. Let's hope he doesn't bottle it and attempt to play safe against Spurs. If he does we will get smashed.
