Just got back home from the game .. and well played City .. finally we play the system that suits us and we give it a go like that .. Thudd controlled the game for us until he tired towards the very end .. but knew once 'the greedy bastard' came on he would fkn score.. 100% improvement though and it looked the like the shackles had been finally released .. who'd have thought that by playing with wing backs we look more of a team eh ! Only been calling for it for a month and a half .. gutted we didn't get the 3 points but great game of football thoroughly enjoyable .. until the greed bastard spoilt it.
That then poses the question who the hell scouted them, or are they been misused , whatever the answer we did look a lot more threatening today, some of city's football was brilliant to watch.
Disappointed not to see us win that game but delighted to see great effort and desire from the players, which is more than can be said after recent weeks. Easier said than done but replicate that type of attacking intent over the season and we'll be well in with the fight for survival. It was nice to finally have an end to a game where the fans can applaud off the team! Also, rather amusing to see Palace complaining about a dubiously given penalty.
Very entertaining game. Good to see the players giving their all, and moving the ball quicker, they deserved their applause they got at the end. Huddlestone was excellent, and Dio also very good and have to applaud him for his goal, and overall play. Livermore was also very good and really took his goal well and very well worked. Bit disappointed not getting the 3 points, but with Palace's fire power at their disposal it was sort of inevitable that they would score.
Better effort, better tactics, better formation. Jak woulda saved the penalty. And Campbells goal. Other than Marshal, same team midweek for me, same positions.
Best we've played all season was absolutely brilliant to watch, some of the passing and plays we did were amazing, it felt like watching a completely different team all together and even when we went 2-1 down.. we immediately got back on top, passing, making runs and dios and livermores goals were just.. phwoar so proud of the guys.. that is how to play a game of football! davies defending for that third goal was atrocious though.. won't see a more free header all season i expect the players will feel highly disappointed with the late equaliser but they showed they can play today, hopefully it inspires for the rest of the season i was gobsmacked at some of the passing we did
It did feel like a defeat to me at the final whistle, despite all the positives. Probably because that wee **** scored.
Decent larker, especially if we drop a division. Problem is though,Seriously doubt Campbell would ever set foot anywhere near Hull City again unless he plays against us again.
