Sorry to hear your sad news . I've been through a divorce and it was the best move (we both made). It was tough at first but we got through it and we have the most beautiful daughter Both are remarried and have been for many a year. Good luck to you all.

Sorry to hear your news Tees.

    Been there, done that.

Despite everything I consider myself very, very lucky, as my ex has always been reasonable and that's meant our son has grown up to be a brilliant lad with no bad effects from us splitting up. The experience doesn't have to be traumatic as long as both parties are reasonable, and I hope it all works out for all of you.

    Sorry to hear this mate.

I finished with my daughters mother and struggled a lot, at first. My main problem was, like you, I had been used to putting my kids to bed and getting up with them every morning. When that stopped suddenly, I found it difficult to cope. Like everything else, it does bet easier with time.

It's good that it seems to have been done on good terms and you are having joint custody. Hopefully this will soften the blow.

As long as your kids are alright, you'll be alright, mate.

Life can be **** at times, but I suppose all we can do is face it head on and trust that everything will be alright.

    Take it easy <ok>

    You did, mate.

I've never breathed a word of it. Sometimes you just know, though. Same happened with my relationship, the last 18months were just going through the motions.

    Tees

Sounds like the right decision, and you've both gone about it in the right way. A mature, joint decision and you both get to see your lads grow up, and help them grow up.

Sounds like you'll be like a dog with 2 dicks for a while! enjoy your partial freedom..

Sorry to hear your news. I have had a very similar experience except it all came as a shock to me. Things seemed pretty bleak to me but I had being a dad to focus on to get me through it. You'll always have that and, as I'm sure you know, being a dad is the best thing in the world. If you're already focussing on the positive aspects of it all then I think you'll do fine. I wish you the very best with it all.

Sad news, but with your virtual body language (if there was such a thing) I sort of guessed it was coming. With your two beautiful sons still in your life you will be fine. However........ the girls in Teesside!!!!

Also been through it Tees as the lads have said it seems a bit weird at first but you do get used to it and if your seeing the bairns on a regular basis it does make a big difference. It is good that you seem to be having an amicable separation as l believe this is also good for the kids as well. Naturally i think you need to be a bit careful introducing them to any future girlfriends as it could mix them up a bit until they are used to the situation.

With regards to the ladies if you are an adonis like i was once the ladies find out you are back out in the wild you will need to be drinking a lot of red bull to keep the energy levels up. <whistle>

    All the best
