I know a lot of fans wants us to play a 352 but we have to look at the suitability of it. In all likelihood Palace will play a 4231 and be unchanged from their last win. Their strength comes from the wide areas and we'll be exposed playing 352.

Be sensible, match them up. But actually play a 4231 instead of a 451 with Dio miles infront of anyone else. I'd happily see either Tymon or Bowen wide left, I'd play Mason behind Dio and to freshen things up in the middle, bring Meyler in for Livermore.

At the very least we better give it a go today

With Elmo at right back we'll be exposed just the same.

I think we are lacking bite in the midfield, swapping Livermore for Meyler would be pointless. For me both need to start. I'm fed up of watching the opposition go past Mason, Henrikson and Clucas with ease.

Its not one of those Euro Hotels is it Ben? I stayed there when i was working in London. It was that real bad winter about 5 years ago. Was funny all the Mercs and Beemers were slipping n sliding down the hill while i just chugged on in my Scenic!!

It was The Queens Hotel, it was quite classy 28 years ago it looks like a run down, lower end hostel for down & outs nowadays, more suited to me now, if I'm honest.

My Merc was ****e in snow, rear wheel drive ****. Had to get help up a small hill once trying to enter a car park, embarrassing. Many other times I had to divert my trip to work cause there's a bit of a hill to get up that it would never have managed. Still sad to see it go though. It's replacement is also a rear wheeler so nowt will change.

Yep thats the one. Just googled it. Used to come back up Gypsey Hill from work. Really rough round there like you say. Then stayed at the Euro hotel on Clapham Common, used to see George Michael quite a bit :bandit:

So much about my gripes over us not taking a punt on Charlie Austin - he's out indefinitely with a shoulder injury

Be nice to see our record signing playing in his natural position today Mason is never a tackling left sided player and never played there for spurs he was never a defensive midfielder either. be better playing clucas out there or tymon with Robertson in front of him henrickson was bought as a number 10 well that's were he played in Holland not a defensive midfielder. Let myler and Livermore sit in front of the back four and let the other midfielders push on and support dio

Only once seen City play this match in Hull and that was a Boxing Day game 55 years ago - we lost 4-2 in Div 3.

Today we will do much better and could hopefully eke out a win.

Not expecting 352 or Harry or Jak to play

Be surprised if we have more than 2 shots on target

Gareth Roberts, Ian Ashbee.. we could do with these types on the pitch

We beat a very good Palace side back in the 80s there - Ian Wright, Neil Redfearn, Geoff Thomas et al

At the end of the day, I want whoever runs out to do their best. I just hope the idiots don't boo mason or henricksen. Which is quite likely with our fans

My 2 lads aren't going and I can't be arsed to go on my own. I feel guilty and should support the team but it was more fun when we were bottom of the FL. I take comfort that our absence won't affect the crowd size announced as our empty membership seats will be urging the team on and be counted. Hopefully I'll look a twat come 4.45 for not going. Really really is a sad day for me to feel so dienchanted with everything about the team I've been watching for 50 years
