Moyes has said there will be no contract talks until the end of the season, or at least know what league we are going to be in.

Big Vic, Jan, Seb and O'Shea entering their last 6 months.

I know Big Vic is having a purple patch but I agree with this. We had massive problems in the past with players on big contracts in the past and will give Moyes more freedom to pick his own players. This all depends which league and if he is still the manager of course.

I agree, one of the main financial problems the club has is thanks to years of cocking up on wages so we need to make sure we're keeping the right players on.

Kirchoff is a tricky one. Do we risk losing him?

Got to say I would make an exception for this guy, he is a class act and by all accounts not the highest wages so if we can keep it low now that would be great

Not sure. I think there`s a case for sorting out contracts as early as is practical. By leaving it late protracted negotiations could eat into the window and a failure to agree meaning less time to recruit a replacement.

    sounds short-sighted.
you'll flush out the hangers-on, but potentially some we want to keep.

As most things in life there has to be balance, who do we want to keep and who do we want to move on? Remember under FFP rules our wages are killing us so we will handcuff ourselves if we sign up too many. Plus we have no idea what Moyes wants in January which he could bring in replacements.

If they want to be here surely they can discuss wages for whatever league were gonna be in.

Need to think of the re-sale value for me.

Which of those lot are worth any re-sale value regardless of what league we're in.

    That's business.

Give Hoff a 1 year extension with assurances he be allowed to leave for 4m if we go down and a incentive for staying up. Makes no sense to risk losing him for nowt unless he wants silly money too extend.
