not sure today. Will we turn them over or have they turned the corner and we'll get smashed by a strong attacking side??? I'd go 3-5-2 but whatever formation it is phelan has to make it a positive attacking formation that looks to get forward. Our best chance of goals are from set pieces so getting Harry on the pitch is a no brainer. Get the jak on it will lift the crowd. The Jak Davies Dawson Harry Elmo. Robertson Jake hudd. Clucas Snodgrass Diomande City 2-1.
Morning Chazz I'd be happy with that selection...although I'm not expecting it I fear the worst...but then I usually do!
Defensive set up and approach 2 down at half time, more attacking 2nd half, 3 1 loss and some **** of a manager dancing like a prick
I'd also be happy with that Chazz, but I can't believe that Phelan won't shoe horn at least a couple of 'his' signings in there.
Morning den. All week you can't wait for a lie in then Saturday morning I wake up even earlier.!! What's all that about.
An ever more depressing **** home performance where the first half instruction is to stand in our half like statues, attempting to lull Palace into thinking we're ****. No, we really are. Us 0 Palace 4 Benteke field day.
Ye me neither really just to go past the time I usually get up. It's probably fear of that bastard kempton getting up before me and doing the mdt. It drives me on.
Well, this was a challenge. Crystal Palace is a residential area within the London Boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth and Southwark. It is named after the former local landmark, the Crystal Palace, which stood in the area from 1854 to 1936. The district was a natural oak forest until development began in the 19th century, and before the arrival of the Crystal Palace the area was known as Sydenham Hill. It seems the best tourist attractions are a mine used as an ammo dump, and old house on the high street and a house Darwin lived in at Biggin Hill Airport. Croydon has got the largest population in London with 339,000. St. Thomas’ Hospital in Lambeth was established in the late 12th Century and is named after St. Thomas Becket. At one point, the hospital had seven buildings, with one for each day of the week. This was to help doctors and staff know when the patient had been admitted to the hospital,as patients were assigned to a building based on the date of admittance. Only two of those buildings still remain. Croydon Airport was the first airport in the world to have air traffic control. The world’s first public railway was in Croydon; it opened in 1803. A pneumatic railway was briefly trialled in the area in 1864. Lambeth Bridge is painted red in honor of the House of Lords, while Westminster Bridge is painted green for the House of Commons. The Institute for Economics and Peace listed Lewisham as the “least peaceful” place in England and Wales in a 2013 study. The athletic track at Crystal Palace was the backdrop when Michael Caine said "you're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off" The original Crystal Palace FC was one of the founder members of the FA, but they ceased in 1861. The current club formed in 1905, and played at the Crystal Palace for 10 years, before moving to Selhurst Park via a velodrome and the nest, but keeping the name. In 1985, Palace and Charlton were the first clubs in England to agree to ground share. Wimbledon FC later replaced Charlton. The ground also holds the English football record for staging the game seen by the greatest amount of people. Over 100 million people watched the club debut of the first Chinese footballers to play in English football, Sun Jihai and Fan Zhiyi in 1998. 100 million people were reported to be watching on television in China alone. Selhurst Park recorded the lowest attendance for a Premier League game - 3,039 during Wimbledon v. Everton on 26 January 1993. The game finished 3-1 to Everton Palace were the first team to play Real Madrid in London. Malcolm Allison changed the nickname from the Glazier to the Eagles, and the club colours from claret and blue to red and blue vertical stripes.
I would go with your suggest line up Chazz, but like other I doubt he will go with it. He did say to RH hat there would be changes, can see Hudd coming in for Mason, as maybe he just needs taking out of the firing line. He will stick with Marshall and the team probably will be: Marshall Elmo Dawson Davies Robbo Hudd Jake Henriksen Snodders Dio Clucas
I have zero confidence in Phelan to pick the best players or tactics for this game. I like Chazz's side but wouldn't be dissapointed to see Meyler in for Clucas. I'm not saying we should win but I want to see some fight today. Sadly I think we'll lose with a whimper again and another evening of depression awaits. I hope I'm wrong. Either way, I'll be getting pissed watching the boxing later.
My Wedding Reception was held in a hotel in Crystal Palace. It was a nice hotel then, not now. It's a **** tip, like the rest of the area. **** place, **** people, **** Manager, **** club, **** team, we'll beat them 3-1. Team wise, make changes.
As I said in the other thread, Mike's got to realise where he's been going wrong and fix that. We're at home, Fortress KC, we're playing a team as **** as we are who have the biggest cockwomble in the PL as their manager. Today has to be our day. It has to be the day the tide turns and realisation dawns. We have to beat them 4-0, otherwise, Mike needs to go. Last chance saloon today. You Ull.
Hope we get something from todays game but just don't see it at the minute. I fear the worst for City this season as we simply cannot score enough goals.
Nah still going strong many years later. She's a diamond, does everything for me. She'll be here in a minute I'm just finishing my post-brekkie dump. I gave her the opportunity to escape the South, she's grateful.
What a beautiful image! {shakes head vigorously and decides it's already time to start drinking to forget}
