Search engine with better privacy!

A little public service thread for you.

I have been watching all these Google conspiracy videos online and have got a bit paranoid at the fact they make a profile for your IP & can apparently predict what you are going to search for with a 90% accuracy rate.

I know it's probably just to fine tune ads to the user but it's better to be safe than sorry so I did some Googling and found - www.startpage.com it uses Google results so its essentially a proxy!

Its alright with the predictive thing as you dont need to type the whole thing out.

Well unless your viewing things that you shouldn't be viewing, then I don't see what the issues are with google having access to your search history

 

I don't have a problem with them having access to my search history, it is them making a profile of my IP address I don't like.

 

Unless your a catholic priest it shouldnt really matter what you use

 

You wouldn't be saying that if you were caught file sharing illegally
