To be fair the Yanks have given us quality shows like Criminal Minds, Taxi, Magnum PI, 24, Lie To Me (although the lead actor was English) and many more. Also some of the best films ever made are Yank productions and some incredibly talented Jazz/Rock n Roll/Blues musicians hail from the US.

They're 'sport' is utter ****. American football stop every 5 minutes for like 20minutes of ****ing adverts. NASCAR which is basically driving around in a circle all day. Baseball is about as boring as cricket. Plus they are a load of backward religious ****s.
It's not the sports themselves that irritate me but the way they are commentated on. Americans seem to be obsessed by statistics rather than the on field action so that when a man takes a brilliant catch and runs 40 yards to touch it down we get told "and Wilbur Burlinson Junior 27th completes 200 yards for the evening making him the 340th most productive player in the NFL this fall". Horse racing's the same - they keep giving you split times over each 200 yards - I want to know which horse won and if it isn't mine i couldn't give a rat's arse about it being the quickest between 1400 yeards and a mile. They take the romance out of it.
Yer right...All 400 million of them are exactly the same.. There are good Americans and there are bad Americans...Just like everyone else I suppose... What I don't understand is their political system, where Obama has won the election, but everyhing he wants to change is blocked and ammended by the Republicans...Crazy ...
