It's an age old debate but is being in Europe good or bad for your title or Top4 aspirations. I reckon it depend's on your circumstances for that particular season but in the most part, clubs like City and Arsenal seem to be able to get Top4 whilst coping with Europe. For Liverpool and Utd (post Fergie) it's been a struggle. Liverpools only top4 finish coinciding with no Europe. Same for Utd post Fergie.
Spurs have challenged for top4 whilst playing regular European football, Chelsea also, barring last years aberration.

In fact before this year the "big6" have only missed out on European football twice in the last 6 seasons ,Pool and Utd once each:

As for this year I reckon Spurs will struggle to go deep in Europa and get Top4. Same as liverpool last year, It could be Either but not both. Utd have a big enough squad to actually split into a League and Europa team but hopefully Mourinho will flog his favourites into the ground.
And for Liverpool I reckon it will be massive like 2014, given the current squad depth and the reason I personally make Chelsea Favourites for the title.

We shall see come May.

 

Zorya very weak team. The mancs did what they had to do but won't be seeded.

Tbf I don't think many seeded teams will fancy drawing them. I think they will end up 6th in the league but could go far in this competition. Their second string is quite strong.

 

That much is obvious with lfc as second favourites. And both don't have European football.

 

Tough to call it this year. Zenit and Shaktar look strong but will be rusty after long winter breaks. I think Roma could go very deep if they arn't struggling to make the top3 in Italy.
One thing, It won't be 4 in a row for Sevilla!

Maybe another La Liga team will step up to the plate. Some of you have forgotten Schalke. Ajax also thru' so expect some old timers would love Ajax to win the EL given their massive contribution down the years with many of their exx players contributing to the European success of other teams.

 

I fancy a premiership club this season. If not the mancs then Spurs. Of course the Spanish clubs will always be tough but shaktar Donetsk could be the one no one wants to meet early.
