Allam = ****S... Destroying the club piece by piece. We are it seems powerless to stop it. Sorry I just don't see a way out until they want it to stop it wont stop.
And let's not forget - it's their money and future earnings they are destroying, not the fans. What an utter clusterfuck.
The answer? David Batte @hullcity_pfa a club employee told me memberships being cancelled in droves. But owners don't care
Cant somebody just kick **** out of ehab? Totally out to **** us over if you cant agree a deal to keep a promising 17 year old who wont be asking for the world My missus went to college with his mum might get her to pry lol
With this and the Tymon fiasco on top of the nightmare skyscraper they've already built/building, you will still get some on here debating or excusing their actions. There's not many left admittedly, but still too many.
I don't think there's much to learn. This news coming out today won't be a coincidence. The Tymon camp have obviously grown totally fed up with the Allams crap and leaked it deliberately.
And as far as I can see, there's a grand **** all that we can do about it now it's got to this stage.
What would be massively helpful would be, when he signs for a new club, he comes out and says it all on the record in an interview. I'm pissed off with Bruce and his 'differences of opinion about the future direction of the club' vague statements and people not exposing these massive ****S for what they are. The wider national media would lap up a story from Josh if what we're hearing is true and it would massively help focus the attention on this issue. At the moment, the media and other clubs just think we've got a **** team and **** fans.
Horrible to admit it but I feel the same. It has got to the stage now that the more we do the more they dig in and the worse it gets. We are a club in limbo. They hold ALL the cards. Harsh but true. Anyone think different?
What's the deal with the SMC agreement? Can the council, as stadium owners, break the contract leaving us with nowhere to play and having to forfeit fixtures and therefore the Premier League withhold all monies? They're not selling cos as far as they're concerned they've got guaranteed income for the next 3 years in terms of the parachute payments. What other business literally guarantees tens of millions of pounds of income for another 3 years if they dont spend a single ****ing penny on the product?
You can't break the lease on a property unless the tenant does something to breach the terms and there's nothing really to breach in the SMC's terms, they don't even have to pay anything. We have a very expensive team, a team that carries a wage bill far higher than the parachute payments will cover, with players that have several years to run on their contracts. The only way to keep any of the parachute money, would be to sell everyone and play the youth team, which isn't remotely practical even if it was desired. There simply aren't millions of pounds sloshing about for the Allams to keep, Assuming we're relegated, we'd have to flog all our best players (probably at reduced fees just to get them off the wage bill) and even then we'd be lucky to break even.
Far too polite, I don't think my first resignation letter was as polite as that. I'm not sure about my second - yet.
David Burns @bbcburnsy I've had a chat with Josh Tymon's agent. In essence, they'd like to sign a new deal with @HullCity asap but they're some way apart. #hcafc
In a situation like this it's certain that any severance contract will involve the person leaving having to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). It's why you rarely get to hear anything about what really goes on behind the scenes.
You think you could realistically sell an entire squad in one go? By the time you've shifted the first five, the value of the rest would have halved once it's obvious you're having a fire sale and you've still got to find homes for them all. Flogging 25 players, who are all on big money, is simply not realistic, you'd have a job giving them all away.
There is no severance contract, he'll simply walk away when his contract expires, he can say anything he likes.
I was more referring to Bruce and the posters accusation that he had somehow let us down by not coming out and explicitly airing his grievances with the Allam's.
