See, you've got to know your Jacobs from your Joshes in this world Poor old ESPN gets it knickers in a right twist here: http://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/3012964/three-clubs-tracking-norwich-city-winger-josh-murphy-sources
Thought there was something fishy in increasing his contract now. So his value is now + the 4 year new contract! Looks like we're planning to sell to me.
The consistency of refereeing has REALLY gone to pot - both Newcastle red cards against Florists are overturned - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38228270!!! It's high time we had a TMO, but only for red cards/penalties IMO.
Pete O'Rourke @SportsPeteO 4m4 minutes ago FIFA president Gianni Infantino is pushing for an expansion of the World Cup in 2026 to 48 teams with 16 groups of three teams. Might as well just do away with the pre-qualifying group stages. Can't see too many people getting excited about Faroe Islands vs Argentina in the main tournament, for example!
Finally top a group! What's the betting Arsenal get Real Madrid? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38244424
Is there anyone in the world that Chelsea & ManU aren't potentially going to buy? I'm going to dig granny up, see if I can get £20m for her!! #theworldhasgonemad
I think they have ultimately decided that Europe will be their focus and to that end they are doing well. They had already qualified from the group stages so last nights no show with a slightly weakened side is not exactly a disaster. Once they get knocked out of Europe, I reckon their league form will improve. I can't see them getting relegated, there are worse teams out there, will it finally be sunderlands year? Swansea look awful, Hull are very likely to sink and others like Burnley who whilst spirited will probably go as Sunderland sack another manager for a great escape come April.
I saw Musa and Drinkwater and thought they were playing some of their better players, didn't look to carefully at the rest.
C'mon BBC - WHY - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38255346????? Why not show at least one of the teams from the lower divisions?????
Typical..just like Sky, they cherry pick games that they think are going to be more "exciting" and generally fail. I hope and expect that they'll both be 0-0 bore draws.
