Furious mum makes Tesco complaint after £1 alphabet potato shapes fail to spell out son’s name

Supermarket complaints come in all shapes and sizes.
Whether it be a caterpillar in the lettuce or five tortillas in a pack of six.
However one woman faced a much bigger issue, the potato letters in her £1 bag of Alpha-Bites did not spell out her son’s name.
And she was very, very upset about it.
Writing on Tesco’s Facebook page, Nichola Hart, 30, explained that she had actually purchased the frozen letters to help her son learn to spell his name – Logan.

She wrote: ‘My some is 4 and learning letters, I wanted to spell his name (Logan) to my shock there wasn’t any L’s or O’s but a lot of the repeated letters.
‘In the end I improvised by using an ‘I’ as an ‘L’ and a ‘C’ as an ‘O’ so spelled ‘icgan’ which obviously isn’t his name… her noticed this straight away and I had to explain why. Very disappointed.’
‘It is misleading, why would you sell them as alpha-bites, really they should just be called “certain letter bites”.

There are enough letters there to spell out *****, perhaps she should have called her son that instead of Logan.

She's a Wid by the way

Everything about this thread from the Story to the OP to Metro to Mick & Gambol utterly sickens me to the core of my being.

I hope everyone involved dies a torturous death which lasts for eternity. :emoticon-0115-inlov

Agreed. I'd use the alphabet potato shapes to spell out 'C.O.C.K' and then line them up on my erect nob so that it spelled 'C'
