I want Roy Hodgson to replace Phelan. Respected in the game, good track record and the experience to stand up to Allams. Appoint now with time to transform our season.
Enough already. Leicester getting battered. Dowie on SSN rubbing his hands together every time a goal goes in. The job's his if he wants it.
Get it done Ehab. First good decision you'll have made. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ent-after-england-iceland-wayne-rooney-future
Why are we actually speculating on potential new managers? You do know Ehab is still here, right? You remember how his recruitment drive went last time...
Well he owes us for flogging us the steaming turd that is Jimmy Bullshit, so it's all square as far as I can see.
Until the ownership question is successfully resolved we might as well be run by the man in the moon. Any manager is doomed to inevitable failure until the departure of the wreckers and a return to a more settled and harmonious club environment.
Step 1 - sack Phelan close to the start of the window Step 2 - piss about looking for a new manager Step 3 - bring someone in a week before end of month Step 4 - sign some loan players Side step - Allams pretending they're doing something - takeover rumours back again Go on Ehab, feel free to **** off, I won't mind being wrong this time.
Or do nothing. Keep Phelan, sell all your best players, pocket the cash, keep pocketing the cash in the Championship until the parachute payments stop then give the club away. All of which they could have done and no-one could do anything about it........................... Or sack the bus driver, appoint a new manager and back room staff and give him some money to strengthen the team which hopefully will keep us in the Premier League. Not forgetting no manager worth his salt would take the job without reassurances.
It's not about whether we can do something about their actions, it's about whether people can get together enough to start causing them embarrassment in other arenas. All the bullshit from them just creates an element in the support that's got a wishywashy "oh they're going any way, stop protesting" about them that stifles things. The Allams don't like embarrassment, this bullshit now, just like in the summer, is utterly predictable as a way for them to stop any unified protest that might just get broadcast round the world. And now of course the media attention, which has just started to turn on them and their conduct, well it's going to be all about who we're going to get as the new man rather than focussing on them being pricks.
How much did we get for Phelan and what percentage of that does the new guy get to invest in players? Think we just spent our Jan budget.
